Senior Pastor, Dr. David Blevins and his wife, Randi
Dr. David Blevins was born in Lima, Ohio in April of 1956. He trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in December of 1973 and began preaching just a few months after his salvation. As a senior in high school, he was nominated to the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Air Force Academy by his congressman. Pastor Blevins graduated from Ada High School in 1974. He met his wife, Randi at Bible College and they were married in July of 1977. Randi is from Ashland, Ohio, where she attended the Mansfield Baptist Temple. They have two grown children, Bethany Hagerman (and her husband, Brandon) and Rusty Blevins.
Pastor Blevins attended Liberty Baptist College in Lynchburg, VA for three years where he was a star baseball pitcher. He graduated from Heritage Baptist University in 1986 with a Graduate of Theology Degree (Th.G). He also has earned a Bachelor of Theology Degree (Th. B.) from Baptist Bible College Canada (1991), and a Master of Divinity Degree (M. Div.) and Doctorate of Theology Degree (Th. D.) from Andersonville Baptist Seminary. In 2004 he received his Doctor of Divinity Degree (D.D.) from Summit Baptist Bible College.

Randi is active in the music and Sunday School ministries at Clover Hill. Pastor Blevins' main responsibility and greatest joy is the public preaching and teaching of God's Word. Both he and Randi have a desire to reach the spiritually lost with the salvation that is only found in Jesus Christ and to see God's people maturing in their personal walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rev. Abe Simon, Associate Pastor
After serving his country in the army during WWII, Abe Simon went to work at an oil refinery in Port Arthur, Texas. It was there that he answered the call to preach in 1948. He then enrolled at East Texas Bible College where he met and married his wife, Ruth. As a result of God's blessing, the Simons have four children and numerous grandchildren.
Rev. Simon has ministered as a church planter and pastor in Texas and all over Virginia, accumulating over 57 years of ministry experience. He's also been familiar with Clover Hill since it's beginning in 1969, and since 1988 he's served as the Associate Pastor and leader of the Golden Age fellowhip.
We're glad to have Bro. Abe serving with us at Clover Hill. He and his wife Ruth offer years of experience and wisdom to our team as we seek to make an impact in our community for Christ.
